Your internet browser decompresses the data and displays the web pages at a faster rate. Comparable to the usage of mod_gzip on an Apache webserver, but this service acts as a proxy service and is therefore independent of your internet provider or type of connection. Very interesting if you have internet access at low bandwith. Especially suitable for mobile end devices.
